Serving the community for more than fifteen years.

It’s About Family Inc. started serving the CSRA community in 2009 in the city of Grovetown, Georgia. Our journey started with free family-based events like Family Day in the Park, serving more than 2000 families, both military and civilians from the area. We expanded our strategy by offering teen mentorship programs and marriage seminars. We added more programs as the demands of the family grew into offering: 

• Free marital and family counseling 
• The food pantry has served more than 155,000 people as of January 2025
• Mission work serving Africa and Panama
• Annual Scholarship Ball offering scholarships to college students 
• Recidivism programs assisting former prisoners in assimilating into the community
• Worked with Youth Challenge and the Columbia County, GA alternative schools as mentors
• ​Educational Support providing tutoring and homework assistance​
• Family value and community engagement building community health through family education.
• A technology hub for children, teens, and their families, offering access to computers for job search and technical skills.
• Agricultural education through community gardening.

Our plans for the future are only limited to the needs of the community. We plan to develop education and job training programs in the future​!
